A family estate that has been producing cider for 3 generations near the Haras du Pin, we offer a guided tour of our property on reservation as well as the on-site sale of our products.
The PERIGAULT family estate is nestled in the hollow of the Gouffern forest, on the edge of the Pays d'Auge region. Since 1920, we have been carrying on the traditions of cider production, producing and only harvesting the 3000 apple trees from our traditional high and low stem orchards made up of around thirty varieties of cider apples.
Since 2015, the entire property has been certified in organic farming and each year we develop on our site our own cider production, the result of 100% natural fermentation of apple juice. Know-how and experience, combined with the introduction when possible of modern techniques by Gérald, are the strengths of our production which gives priority to quality over quantity. We are committed to perpetuating this know-how and welcoming our customers to the estate to offer them the chance to discover our quality drinks made with environmentally friendly practices. Apple juice, traditionnal cider, perry, cider vinegar, Pommeau de Normandie, Aperi'go, Calvados Pays d'Auge.
Privileged stopover for tour operators in the Norman tourist circuit near the 926 departmental road between Argentan and the Haras National du Pin (10 kms), we offer groups guided tours with the owner on reservation: Discovery of harvesting equipment, the pressing workshop to then enter the cider cellar, and the distillery where the secrets of the pot still typical of the Pays d'Auge will be revealed. After passing through the Calvados aging cellar, tasting apple juice, cider, perry, Pommeau, aperitif (house specialty), and a whole range of PDO Pays d'Auge Calvados.
