Immerse yourself in the history of the Pays d'Auge by discovering our family distillery, where we have been producing our Calvados for five generations with the greatest respect for traditions.
Our family distillery, created in 1860 by Pierre Groult, has been passed down from father to son for 5 generations. If the traditional production methods of Calvados have been perpetuated, such as the 100% natural fermentation of cider or the double distillation over a wood fire, the Groult family has done everything possible from the beginning to improve the manufacturing processes and produce the most beautiful eaux-de-vie.
You will discover the modern press, the 3 antique copper stills, and above all our majestic aging cellars where 400 barrels and casks (from 100 liters to over 13,000 liters) are dedicated to the aging of our Calvados.
Our distillery as well as our 27 hectares of orchards are located in Saint-Cyr du Ronceray, in the heart of the Lisieux triangle (13km away, Basilique Ste Thérèse) / Orbec (12km away, medieval village, access to the A28 motorway) / Livarot ( 18km, Graindorge cheese dairy).
