Located in Normandy on the Cider Route, in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, the Pierre Huet estate is composed of 30 hectares of orchards and 25 varietes of apples. Since 2010, the distillery works with wood chips to heat the stills.
It is in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, between Caen and Lisieux, on the Cider Road, that the Pierre Huet family estate combines tradition and innovation since 1865. The family is thus mastered in the delicate art of assembling and has gained a great reputation by marketing its precious nectar: Calvados.
Calvados but also ciders, Pommeau de Normandie, apple juice, creams and liqueur ... are all products that you can discover or rediscover in the domain shop in Cambremer.
Thanks to the expertise handed down for five generations, Pierre Huet's products have received many awards at the General Agricultural Competition in Paris.
During the guided tour, you will discover the slow process of transforming the apple into Calvados (press, aging cellars and distillery). You will enter a world where tradition and quality remain the only concerns of the family.
The press and the stills heated with wood will amaze you, as well as the cellars with their century old barrels which will offer you pleasant and subtle exhalations.
Finally, during the tasting, you will appreciate the richness of the Pays d'Auge !
