In Normandy, in the heart of Domfrontais, the land of Pear, our family farm offers cider products from high-stem orchards maintained by our herd of Norman cows.
Since the beginning of the 18th century, the Pacory have been farmers in the Domfrontais. This bocage is known for its pear trees, above all, but also for its tall apple trees, where the fruits are transformed into cider, perry and Calvados. During the day, the cows graze under the orchards before they come back for milking.
The Pacory family settled on the estate in 1939. Faced with the extension of intensive agriculture, Claude decided to favor and improve the production of Calvados from 1959. Marketing in bottles then began.
In 1986, Frédéric moved in with Catherine. They continued to develop quality products by using more efficient techniques and by deepening their knowledge of the different varieties of their orchard. Their products regularly benefit from several awards, in particular Calvados Domfrontais and PDO Domfront perry.
But the legend is not over! Indeed Simon, the son has just joined them since the beginning of 2013, always with the same passion, and the same knowledge, which has now been passed on for 3 generations,
Today the fruits come from the farm which covers 140 hectares and has 800 tall pear trees and 400 tall apple trees.
