Passed down from generation to generation, the Bruyères Carré farm located in Moyaux in the Calvados department, is an authentic cider farm from the Pays d'Auge, a must in Normandy.
Family-run, our farm is located in Moyaux in the heart of the Pays d'Auge, 4 km from Cormeilles and 15 km from Lisieux. The orchards, which you can visit all year round, consist of low-stem apple trees and high-stem apple trees. They include around ten varieties of 'Augerone' apples (Bisquet, Frequin Rouge, Bedan, Saint-Martin, etc.).
The choice of apple varieties is important for making a quality cider. They each have their own properties and it is their blend that achieves the desired balance. The entire production is processed on the farm.
Privileged location, rigorous choice of fruits, manufacturing and storage techniques combining traditional and modern techniques guarantee us an ideal production quality.
We also have a rural lodging service for 11 people near the farm, "The fisherman's hut", as well as an area set up in the heart of the orchard for parking motorhomes.
