Production of cider, Calvados and Pommeau de Normandie PDO, exclusively from apples from our orchard. Discover our family farm located in the Pays de la Risle, 20 km from Honfleur and come and taste our products.
The Ponctey farm is located on the Lieuvin plateau overlooking Triqueville and its valley near Pont-Audemer in Normandy, in the Calvados appellation zone. Our mission is to keep alive the tradition of producing authentic alcoholic beverages on the farm which enhance our terroir's qualities.
Our products are made while respecting the natural expressiveness of our apples and using traditional fermentation and distillation methods which give prominence to human know-how, far from industrial techniques.
It has been more than 25 years since we took over the Ponctey farm and decided to reconnect with the cider-making past of this place marked by the establishment of a German aerodrome during the occupation. We therefore planted our orchard around the farmhouse and set up cider house and cellars in historic buildings. Two generations of the Jaouen family currently manage and maintain the orchard, harvest the apples and make our ciders, Calvados and Pommeau while simultaneously leading the "big cultivation".
The mention "Farm product" indicates that each stage of production is carried out on our estate and from our own apples only. This is the guarantee that you will really taste the product of our land and its specificities.
We welcome you all year round at the estate in our shop to make you taste our different products and present our know-how with the help of a commentary illustrated with photos.
Also enjoy our guest rooms in a setting of authentic Norman buildings 6 km from Pont-Audemer, the “Norman Venice”, cradle of the Pommeau.
