The Motte farm is a family farm where we take care of the land, the trees: work in organic farming, replanting hedges, harvesting fruits by hand, developing our cider products with natural foam. Our way of doing things interests you, come and meet us!
The Motte farm is located in the heart of the Normandy countryside, 1 hour from Mont St Michel, 15 minutes from Domfront and Mortain. For 3 generations, we have lived on this peasant dairy and cider farm. The 18 ° house is remarkable and marks visitors on their arrival, imposing and luminous, you will find it on our labels and during stays at the farmer's cottage.
We have made the choice of organic farming since 2008, accompanied by replanting of hedges, arrival of beehives. We harvest our fruits by hand, in family labor reinforced by the workers of the ESEAT of Barenton.
Our PDO Domfront perries are made with natural foam. We like to offer very tasty apple and pear juices, worked from the dozen varieties of the orchard, they are greatly appreciated. Our range also consists of our farm ciders, Pommeau de Normandie and Calvados Domfrontais.
We receive at the cellar by appointment. We strive to establish human relations with our customers, local or export.
